Rocks being delivered

One of the more terrifying experiences of my life. The first time it happened I really wasn't sure what would happen, options included:
  • 10 tons of rocks neatly stacked right where i want them
  • 10 tons of rocks rolling 100 vertical ft. further down the hill than intended
  • 10 tons of rocks destroying east wing of the house
  • 10 tons of rocks obliterating the gas main which sits 3 feet away from the butt of the dump truck
  • The chute being destroyed or sliding down the hill
  • The dump truck tipping sideways onto me
Also it was hard to find a dump truck that could dump the rocks as the road is narrow (25ft wide). For good measure the first truck they sent was 40 feet long, it almost tipped over going around the switchbacks and couldn't dump the rocks.

For the full effect watch the video with the sound turned to 11.

The Early Days
